'Munch' 11th Jan.2005-31st.Jan.2005: Preston |
c0107 |
 |
"Munch" is 18 months old, a male neutered tabby with grey and black striped body and legs. He is lighter under the chin. He was last seen on Bampton Drive (a very new development) in Cottam, Preston
Some excellent news. Munch has returned ! It is remarkable, after weeks of dead ends and wandering around shaking a biscuit tin.. we had a call from a chap who works for Stenna on Fleetwood Docks. Apparently Munch had been living in a box, in a skip, in the huge freight/lorry port at Fleetwood for over a week !! He looks healthy and well, and is now meowing his way round the house eating tuna. He still had his collar on, thank goodness for that and made lots of friends down on the docks.
I am presuming he must have climbed into a lorry and was transported back there.. I really don't think he could have walked all that way in just under 3 weeks.
Anyway, I must give you a BIG Thank You for all your help and effort, and I will be promoting your website as much as I can. If there is anyway I can help you in the future, please do not hesitate to call me.
Now... I must go out and take down all those signs !!! :o)
Regards Liz (a very happy lady) x

Pandy is a 15 year old Black & White female...
I'd like you to let eveyone know that Pandy has returned this aftenoon safe and well after 3 weeks and 3 days AWOL. A lady rang me after seeing new posters I had only stapled to trees this morning. I was so pleased to see her I gave the lady a big hug. She wasn't going to take the reward but she has 4 kids and I made her.
Pandy's lost weight and I was only out looking for her right near where she was on Thursday night. She also has a little eye infection and has a slight limp in her back right leg but other than that she's purring and washing herself. She wouldn't get off my knee for about an hour. She's now fast asleep in the back bedroom.
Straight to the vet tomorrow for a check up and then microchip for both of them.
I can't go through this again. Thanks for all your support.

Charlie a small Black & White cat, White markings around the mouth, cheeks, chest & underbelly, he has 2 white mittens at the front and white socks at the back - Good morning Sue I have the most fantatsic, fabulous news - Charlie is home. I am so happy. It happened at 6am this morning, I was asleep and heard a cat crying, I thought it was my other cat Eric and he sounded in distress so I got out of bed and it was Charlie on the landing, annoucing this arrival back home. He ate 3 bowls of cat food in 1 go. He is a bit skinny & seems to have a few bumps on him so a visit to the vets I think just to get him checked over. He then did his Charlie and got into bed with me and slept next to me for the rest of the morning. It was very hard for me to leave the house for work today, I cant wait til 5pm when i go home. I am so happy, I feel all peaceful & content again. I thank you so much for all the help and support and understanding you have given me over my Charlie and i am so pleased there is a happy ending. If you dont mind I would like to keep in touch with you, let you know how Charlie gets on at the vets and keep you upto date with my 2 other cats - Eric & Leia. Thank you again. A very happy mummy again. Emma

'Worzel' c.28th.Jan.2005 - 21st Feb.2005 |
|
 |
Worzel is a light brown tabby - very stripy. A little overweight but also of
a stocky build so just looks quite broad.
He is chipped and neutered and was wearing a black and silver collar with an
ID tag and a cat flap magnet...Unfortunately worzel was found last night in a neighbours garden.
We think he had an accident of some sort on sunday night as he was not there during sunday day.
It would seem that he had either been lying low nearby whilst the builders were there or was on the way back from an adventure. |

Gemma, a small Brown Tabby aged 7- 8 missing from the
Westwood Park, Forest Hill area of London SE... Good news. Gemma was found on Friday evening (11 March), 10 weeks and a day since she went missing!,in the attic of a car repairs garage very close by. We had searched there originally and alerted the owner but she suddenly appeared there . She is half the weight she was and very dehydrated. The vet was rehydrating her- yesterday and we go again tomorrow. He says we will have to see how her kidneys are- so it's a bit touch and go.

News |
Tinker is a dark brown, tortoiseshell Burmese cross kitten. She is only 9 months old and went missing from the Dunmore Road area of Little Sutton, she was wearing her black collar with yellow paw prints on when she went missing... I HAVE SOME GREAT NEWS!! Tinker is home!! We got a call yesterday (Good Friday) from a vet surgery in Whitchurch - 30 miles from Ellesmere Port where we live! - to say that someone had brought her in.... I was so excited I burst into tears on the spot!!!
They think she had either climbed into a van or had got up underneath our
car and had dropped out on my husband's journey to work in Telford. Where
she has been for the past 3 weeks we will never know, but she is safe and
sound and back home.
She had managed to hurt her tail somehow and has half of it amputated so she looks a bit sorry for herself. She is also very thin and wants constant
cuddles but apart from that is fine.
I can't believe she's here. It's just so bizarre! How on earth she got so
far away I can't imagine.....
The vets were wonderful and so happy to reunite us with her. They took some
photos and are going to run the story in the local paper as a good advert
for EVERYONE to get their cats microchipped. We would never have found her otherwise. It's a miracle!!
Have taken some photos of her with her new baldy tail and will send them to
you once I download them from the camera........ I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!

'Roque' 25.Mar.2005 - 28.Mar.2005 |
c0185 |
 |
Roque (pronounced Rocky) went missing on Good Friday 25th March 2005
He is a 3 year old Tabby, male, neutered, with longish fur, he is quite big,and he has a skin allergy... My hands are trembling as I email you, my Roque is home. I can't believe it, I had gone out yet again to look and call for him, and when I came home my mum said "you had better feed your cat" she had gone to put some rubbish in the bin, and he came running up to her.
You said put dust out, well we have wood floors, so that was out, but I have been so sick with worry, that I haven't changed his litter tray, so some of the wet stuff I mixed with dry cat litter (yuk the thought now) I put it in a pringle tube, and I have been scattering it on street corners, near lamps etc, it may have worked eh?
Thank you with all my heart Sue for all your help, and I am sure you do know what it means to me, having been in the same predicament.
I sincerely hope that all the others that have lost their pets, feel the same joy that I am feeling at this very moment.
I will promote your site as much as I can. Thank you again.
Yours overjoyed. Melanie
P.S. I will be having him microchipped as soon as possible. |
