" We are desperate for the safe return of our gentle "angel-face" Nelson. We (his human companions) miss him so much that it is almost unbearable. His cat companion is totally lost without him. He is a very loving cat. You may have seen him, or know that he has been hurt or injured. He could be trapped in a garden shed, empty house or cellar.

Please check and be observant. You may have taken Nelson in in good faith?

We need Nelson back but we also need to know what has happened to him if he is deceased, so that we can stop our searching. Please help.... ."

Nelson adopted us soon after we moved in. He was very thin and looked disheveled and we thought he was a stray. He was a friendly, but fragile cat with a small meow and although we gave him a little attention at first, we did not feed him.

He is a very loving cat and he began to visit us more and more for fuss after we got our own cat Pumpkin from a local sanctuary. They eventually became soul-mates. Nelson refused food at first, but he was so thin that we did begin to offer food to him. We then found out that Nelson had previous owners (and was named Greebo) but had left home following the arrival of a baby. Nelson was constantly at our house from that point on. He has lived with us for over 18 months and although he does go out often, he is never far away from us, or Pumpkin, and always comes home for his food. Nelson suffers from a skin allergy and I have taken him to the vets for treatment with this on several occasions.

He sometimes comes home with very black paws. His paws are quite unique as he has an extra toe and this makes it look as though he is wearing mittens!

On Sun 27th Sept that is where we last saw him. When we returned home from a bike ride in the afternoon / early evening Nelson was gone and he has not, as yet, returned.
