We love Keith dearly, we are barely coping and our hearts are breaking a bit more with each day that goes by.

Not knowing what's happened to him, and the fear and pain he may be in, are tearing us apart.

Would everyone living and working in the vicinity and surrounding areas of
Bedale Avenue
Please keep a lookout for Keith

Search and Monitor all Sheds, Garages, Outbuildings in the hopes of finding him
Any information would be appreciated.

Keith is a lively, healthy young male, usually answers to his name, has a little voice.

Born approx April 2009, adopted from RSPCA York May 31st 2009. He looks young, is slim and lithe, has quite a small head for a male. We think he ran away because we put a collar on him. It was a red collar with a bell, to try and give the many birds and mice he catches a chance of hearing him. He ran off distressed at tea time on 13th July because he didn't like wearing it, and never came back.

We have 4 other cats, all of whom he gets on well with. He's quite independent and usually likes to be left alone when having a serious sleep, and will play fight with your hand if you try to tickle his tummy.

He usually sleeps all day on our bed, gets up late afternoon, may nap in the evening, and goes out in the night hunting little creatures.

We've walked round lots of blocks in the area looking and calling, and continue to do so, and intend to put up further posters. One poster that was securely put up near the local shop was ripped down shortly after, may just have been kids or a callous person. We've had thunder, wind and heavy rain for one of the days since he went, which worried us a lot.

Please send for a ready to print
Poster
for display in any prominent position.
