Jasper
trying to see through tears as I type this, I love him so much!
OK, I have attached pictures for you, but Jaspers details are as follows:
Black semi longhaired domestic although I am 99.9% certain he has a fair bit of ragdoll in him given his temperament and his size - he is a 6 1/2 kilo cat.
He was not wearing a collar but is micro chipped, he is about 4 and is neutered. He is completely back apart from a white patch under his chin and has strikingly green eyes. He is unlikely to let anyone pick him up although he is less wary of people as he is getting older.
I have contacted all the vets in my area and left details but am trying to contact further afield as well. The next step (preferably today) is to get some posters and fliers done so I can post them through everybody's door in my village. There are not that many houses where I live, I have checked all along the main road, was out at 3:40am this morning to see if I could hear him when it was quiet but no joy.
I am hoping and praying he comes back safe, he has never in 4 years gone
away before and I am struggling to deal with this - he was even more special
to me after his brother went missing - it still tears me apart not knowing what happened to Tex.
Unfortunately, Jasper was the sort of cat who loved me, slept on the pillow next to me every night and had to have 10 mins of fuss lying on my chest every morning before I was allowed to get up so it's
harder than your average non-caring cat.
