Felix is only a small cat, he was on his way to an appointment at Robert Jones' vet's surgery on St.Annes Road Blackpool when he escaped from his carrier on the doorstep.

He ran over the road and hid by getting into a vehicle engine compartment where he was extracted from the exhaust system by one of the firemen.

Unable to hold on to him, Felix ran across the fields of Palatine School and hasn't been seen since.

From there Felix could have gone in any direction. It is thought that he may try and make his way home, but for a little cat - finding his way to the area of Victoria Hospital could be a tall order.

Felix was seeing the vet with a urinary disorder - he is probably in great discomfort and needs to be found quickly.

Therefore we are asking everyone to keep a Keen Lookout for him and to report any stray / lost black cats to MyMoggy He will probably be very frightened and is likely to wander further if anyone attempts to catch him. Better therefore to leave a little food and water out in the hopes of keeping him in the area until his human can check it out.

NB. Felix was not wearing his collar when he went awol

Would everyone please help, those of you living in areas surrounding the Palatine playing fields and all areas between there and the Vic' send for a POSTER and display it in any prominent postion ie the lampost outside your houses.
