Edward lives in a detached house on the edge of an estate, in a mixed urban/rural area, backing onto a field and in close proximity to wooded areas.

Tell us :we have no idea why he's missing. he went out at about 11.30pm on the monday (29th) and hasn't come back.

He has a bengal heritage and he, and his sister, have the most feral behaviour patterns of any of the cats we've had. even at his young age, it's now apparent that he has been keeping local cats - older and bigger than him - away from his territory. so it's possible that he has gone walkabout, like so many toms before him, or that he strayed into a vehicle and was carried away from his neighbourhood

He's cautious but quite brave, and very vocal, and would likely look for food and company from residents, but he is a competent hunter and could very well fend for himself if he has access to a similar environment to his homeground

We have 4 other cats - George 13, Ali 13, Tom 7 and Edward's sister, Tubbs. they missed him at first, particularly his sister, who missed his physical companionship. they have now of course accepted his absence, but would be very happy to see him again.

"We've had cats for over 30 years - a dozen all told. they've been a vital part of our lives and we've grieved for those we've lost to illness and old age as all owners have to do, but this is the first time one has gone missing. The effect is stunning; his absence is a constant, he is in our thoughts throughout the day - why has he gone? where is he? is he safe? is he dead? - and it doesn't feel like it will go away. "

"You don't have to be sure that it's Edward - if it might be, let us know.
We'd rather follow up any number of false sightings than not be told of a possible contact"
