Mitsy went missing whilst we were on a long holiday abroad. She was last seen on Monday April 2nd 2007 by the person who was living in the house 'cat sitting'. Her 'quick-release' collar was found in the garden and there were glasses found smashed on the kitchen floor where they had been knocked off the side? Was she chased by another cat? Was she just fed up that we had been away so long?

Mitsy is a very affectionate cat who will approach anybody and nuzzle their face if picked up. She is very friendly and makes friends very easily, everyone who meets her loves her character. She will always come running when called.
She was born in woodland and has always been an active outdoor cat. She would bring a baby rabbit home a day during the spring, a very good hunter.
She had 4 kittens when she was just 1 year old, all took on her loving and mischevious personality. After the kittens had left she was spayed.
Perhaps becasue she had kittens so young it has left her as a small cat, or perhaps she was always destined to be small. She looks like a young small cat.
Misty is a vocal cat and will greet you with a meow, she very much likes company and likes to be involved. She will follow you around the house and garden and lieks being near you.

We moved to the village in October 2006. Prior to this I lived 7 miles away at my parents. I have been out most mornings and evenings calling and searching, and following up on leads. I have discovered that there are quite a few black & white cats who look like mitsy.
It is very uncharacteristic for Mitsy to be away. She would always be around many times every day, even though she would go off into an extensive territory. I have never known her to be absent even for one day.

The weather since she has been missing has been very fine, with no rain so far for three weeks, and being spring it is prime hunting conditions. The lost collar and the broken glasses may be a red herring or it may be significant?
Our cottage is on a very quite back street about 250m from a reasonable busy county road. We are surrounded by fields and woodland on all sides.
She would often be in the woodland opposite the front of the house and would come running when called.

Would everyone living and working in the vicinity and surrounding areas of Station Road, Please keep a lookout for Mitsy.
Search and Monitor all Sheds, Garages, Outbuildings in the hopes of finding her
Any information would be appreciated.
