I recently moved to the area from a small town in north devon, Simba was used to peace and quiet , very little traffic and lots of open space, he was in a cattery for a week before settling in at the new house.

He went missing the first time i let him out after keeping him in for 2 weeks to settle, he seemed settled ,was playing and washing.

We have another cat which was already living at the house but he was not bothered about him or stressed that another cat was in the house the other cat was more stressed about Simba, he is now behaving differently as if he misses Simba.

Simba went outside had a look around, jumped over the walls into the gardens either side of the house and came back a few times when called. I then took my attention from him for a few minutes and he had vanished. I think he went for a wander and wandered too far and got lost.

He is prone to going off for a few days but has always returned at previous homes. He is an independent cat and has a really loud cry. He is quite nervous of people and doesnt tend to approach strangers. He likes to go out at night and stays in most of the day, he is a very loving cat, has bags of personality, very gentle and missed terribly.

"Simba is missed terribly, he is very affectionate and I have had him from a kitten, please if you have seen him or know anything about his whereabouts please let me know, he must be terribly lost and confused."

Would everyone living and working in the vicinity and surrounding areas of Thornbury Park,
