Sparky went missing on Sunday 30th September. After sleeping in the armchair most of the morning he had a good stretch, ate a late brunch and disappeared out through the cat flap. We last saw him chasing a fly of some kind into the back garden. He is timid but very inquisitive; he is very used to going in the car and can often be found in the boot of the car when I am emptying it. He tends not to like children, or anyone with a high-pitched voice, hiding behind the settee when my friend’s daughter (aged 5) comes to visit, or legging it over the back fence! He has a couple of little cat friends locally. One lives four doors up and he visits him most days, often having a second breakfast, then they spend some time jumping on each other before going running off on the prowl. His friend has been round a few times to us looking for him. He is more affectionate upstairs than down - and most nights waits until I get into bed then jumps up, cuddles in and lulls me to sleep with his purring. |

"Sparky is a very timid, inquisitive, affectionate cat, and is
much missed. When I come home from work I always expect him to be sitting on the stairs watching until I take my coat off and give him a cuddle. Any news (good or bad) would be appreciated." |
