We had only adopted Billy from a rescue centre 3 weeks before he went missing, it was the first time he had been allowed outside in the garden and he never came back.

We have two other cats that had taken a while to get used to him but they had become friends and had started to wait at the patio doors for him to be let out. We now wish that we had waited longer before we let him out but our vet had recommended that 3 weeks but be sufficient.

He is quite a shy cat and would often hide under drawers but once he was coaxed out he would be the most loving cat, purring constantly and not moving from your side for hours.

He went missing four days before we were due to move house. We have been back to the area and posted leaflets through the houses nearby, informed petlog, rang local vets, rang the rspca and cats protection, the local council incase they find him injured, ive put ads on gumtree and ive contacted the local newspaper who are going to place an advert. we have been back to the area several times and walked around for hours calling his name and sat in the car until late at night watching for him.

"Please look out for Billy.
We would desperately love to have him home with us, we have moved to a lovely new house that we are sure he would be happy in where he could lie in front of the log fire. We miss him so much and feel he was meant to be ours, there is a reason we chose to adopt him. .
