I let Katie out as I always do on my way to out to work Friday morning the 4th November 2011. Usually when i get home sometime in the afternoon she is waiting for me but on this particular day she wasn't.

It was unusual for me to go out of an evening but i did on Friday and was late back and she still was not around.  Saturday I shouted her a few times but she did not respond and by Saturday late afternoon I was getting really concerned as she was not home and I had to go out again for t he evening.  I was more concerned than normal because it was bonfire night.

I presumed though as she is so very timid and will run away when approached "she will only come to me and my 10 year old soon" when coaxed" that she had probably hidden somewhere safe away from the fireworks. Sunday I was getting desperate as she had still not returned and now I am beside myself.

She has been our family pet for the last 13 years and we love her very dearly.  We appreciate that she is an old cat but for the not knowing of what has become of her is breaking our hearts.  Especially my 10 year old soon who is autistic and has a particular strong bond with Katie.

We want her home safe and well and my little boy is beside himself as he now has to sleep alone as Katie was always with him during the night.  She is not only my cat, she is also my friend who I share my inner most secrets with.
