Fred has always been adventurous & his nickname is 'Fearless'
Fred as he doesn't seem to be bothered by anything.
He is very friendly & affectionate and loves having a cuddle, always on his terms though...he doesn't like being picked up. He has a very quiet meeow and moves silently. We sometimes call him Stealth because of his habit of sneaking in, out or up behind us without us realising. He is very healthy & has had no major ailments.

He spends a lot of time outdoors and it's not unusual for him to be gone for 3 or 4 days at a time. We know that he visits other houses to spend time there and be fed but he usually keeps checking in.

About 5 weeks ago he was away for 6 days but just as we thought he wasn't going to come back he strolled in as if nothing had happened and seemed his usual self. This was Tues 10th July - my partner's birthday & it was like a special birthday present. He didn't seem to have lost any weight but he did seem slightly less confident than usual. He spent the next few days fairly close to home but then on the following Sunday morning (having slept on our bed overnight) he followed my partner downstairs in the morning and went straight out. He was gone until Weds 18th July when he appeared at lunchtime for a pouch of food. He went straight back out & we haven't seen him since.

We've searched the local area but it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. He just seems to have completely disappeared. I just feel that for some reason he can't get back to us.

He is chipped and registered with Locate but we havn't heard anything so in a way I think that's probably good news & means he is still alive somewhere.

We're missing him terribly & so is his brother Morty who is mostly staying in at the moment and is very clingy. I can't think about anything else at the min.

Please help us to find Fred. He is our very much loved furry boy
& we're desperate to have him back home with us!
