Tiggy has been with our family since he was a small kitten. He belongs to our daughter who loves him to bits and treats him like her child. He has always slept in her bed with her. We have two other cats younger than him - both females mum and daughter. The mum was sometimes in a bit of conflict with Tiggy but he was always dominant. The daughter loved him and followed him around - often sleeping with him.

Since we moved to the country he has been free to roam but has usually returned in under 24 hours. He had a close encounter with another cat about two years ago which caused an injury to his tail which we thought might mean he lost it but the injury healed up with antibiotics.

He has a very gentle friendly nature - spent much of his life asleep on one of our knees. Our daughter went away to university in September. We think this upset him. He took to going out for longer periods. In between he slept on our bed - sometimes with us overnight but would not go into he r room. Last sighting he came in briskly thro the cat flap - no sign of being unwell. He licked some gravy off a dinner plate on the floor and went in to his food bowl in the kitchen. At some point he must have gone out again but we did not see him. He has not been back since then.

The house seems really empty without tiggy - our daughter is devastated by his loss. We just keep hoping he will walk in. Please help us to find him or at least find out what happened to him.
