The area where Ambrose escaped is quite rural with long grass fields and horse stables - the area is surrounded by detached properties and farm land.
Ambrose escaped from his cat carrier (how is still a mystery, my back was turned for less than one minute) whilst we were in Seadown vets car park on June 1st at 11am. We live in Bournemouth but he needs specialist treatment for his eyes hence the visit to Seadown. The vets have set a humane trap where he went missing with some of his favoured food and I've put familiar smells around such as my clothing and his toys etc but this has yet to entice him. He also loves cheese dreams and usually comes running if I shake a bag! Ambrose is usually quite shy but once he gets to know you he is very friendly and the most placid cat I have ever met
